Join knowledgeable Wiradjuri tour guide Michael Lyons and learn about the unique cultural landscape around Narrandera.
During the tour, Michael, or one of his family members, will show you how he creates his authentic artefacts, carvings and artworks. He will also take you for a bush walk, showing you bush medicines, animals, the beautiful Murrumbidgee River, sacred Aboriginal sites like the Birthing Rocks and Caves. If you're lucky enough, you will get to experience the taste of Michael's home cooked bush foods and a delicious meal for lunch. A tour of his workshop and gallery are also included.
Upon request, a campfire dinner can be arranged. Sitting around the warm campfire, listening to the stories Michael has to share, is truly an experience not found anywhere else. Michael's knowledge and experience of his culture should be heard by all - along with his sense of humour!
