Always been curious about sailing but never knew how to get onboard?
Come along to the NCYC Sailing Academy for one of their “Discover Sailing Experiences” which provides that opportunity to get out on the water to see what it’s like!
Their experienced sailing instructors will take you onboard one of the 24' inshore keelboats to “give you a taste” of what sailing is all about. You will spend the morning learning basic sailing skills, terminology and boat handling manoeuvres.
Five people onboard - one instructor and four participants.
Enjoy the unique opportunity to spend some time on beautiful Newcastle Harbour and see the city from a different perspective! This might just whet your appetite to join them for one of their Learn to Sail courses. All you need is comfortable active clothing, an enclosed pair of shoes and a hat.
