This adventure take about four hours. First port of call is the Bruces Bend Marina where you get to view many of Mildura's fleet of houseboats and some old river barges used to cart wool in the 1800's. Then venture up a small creek which provides many challenges as you manoeuvre under bridges and around logs and bull rushes. This creek leads you into a breathtaking Billabong full of birdlife. Then pass under another bridge and venture back into the Mighty Murray River. Then paddle down stream calling into a number of impressive swamps and billabongs before returning to where you started at the Bruces Bend boat ramp. Once again this adventure is not hard paddling and it would suit most people.
