How to get featured by @visitnsw on Social Media

Have you created content you think would be great for Visit NSW's social channels?

We look for content that showcases our amazing state and has wow factor.

It's really easy to be featured and all you need to do is follow these 3 simple steps:

1) It's a good idea to follow our channels so you can see the style of content we feature and get used to our style:

 Instagram VisitNSW tik tok FacebookTwitter

2) Create quality social media content and share it on your own channels.

In short, we are looking for images or videos that inspire, surprise and captivate our followers.

Some good questions to ask yourself about the content you have are:

  • Does it have wow factor?
  • Does it show the best of NSW?
  • Is it eye-catching imagery with vibrant colours?
  • Does it make someone laugh, smile or want to share it with a friend?
  • Is the quality good and of a high resolution?

3) Include our official hashtags when posting on your channels — We monitor these hashtags daily and source featured materials from the content pool to share on our channels:

#newsouthwales and/or #feelNSW and tag our account @visitnsw

Also, check out our terms and conditions below for more information on how we handle submissions and permissions for our digital and social media channels.
