Get ready to embrace the Aussie spirit at Gunnedah Shire's Australia Day celebrations—where mateship, community pride and good times come together in true-blue style!

In the lead-up, join the fun at the Australia Day Trivia Quiz at the Golf Club, on 21 January, and he Australia Day eve Cocktail Party & DJ at the Courthouse Hotel on 25 January.

Australia Day kicks off with the Triathlon, Rotary BBQ brunch, alongside athletic events, a lively Touch Footy Match and the fast-paced Dash for Cash.

The official Australia Day Ceremony starts with the Citizenship Ceremony under the Gums and continues with the Australia Day Awards ceremony.

Make a splash with free entry to the Gunnedah Pool, or enjoy Aussie breakfasts in Shire villages and the fishing competition in Carrol. All the local Pubs put on entertainment and Australia Day activities for the whole family, the Mackellar Centre and the Rural Museum open their doors.
