In the lead-up, join the fun at the Australia Day Trivia Quiz at the Golf Club, then head to Club Gunnedah on 25 January for the Chess Challenge and Bowls Triples Comp.

Australia Day Eve features the Citizenship Ceremony and Australia Day Awards at the Civic Theatre, followed by a stylish Cocktail Party and DJ Night at the Courthouse Hotel from 7pm.

Australia Day kicks off with the Triathlon, Rotary BBQ brunch, and the Great Aussie Bake-Off, alongside athletic events, a lively Touch Footy Match and the fast-paced Dash for Cash.

Make a splash with free entry to the Gunnedah Pool, or enjoy Aussie breakfasts in Shire villages. The Rural Museum opens its doors, and the Civic Theatre screens classic Aussie movies to wrap up the day.
