Three Tails Brewery & Smokehouse
Head to Three Tails Brewery to try some of the region’s excellent beers, artisan spirits, cocktails and wine, with 21 craft beers on tap. The welcoming spot is kid and dog friendly, and has a number or indoor and outdoor spaces, including a heritage shed. Come with an appetite and try some of the delicious Texan barbecue from Smokin Bro and their famous meat smoker.

Small Batch Brewery & Hop Farm
Small Batch Brewery use fresh locally sourced ingredients and sustainable methods such to grow their hops and produce their beers. Visit the brewery from Friday to Sunday to enjoy a tasting paddle and to stock up on home brewing supplies or mini beer kegs.

Clover Cellars
There's a lot going on at Clover Cellars. It's the home of Hop & Clover Brewing Co, known for their 'no fuss' beers like the Mudgee honey ginger beer and Irish red ale. The team have also branched out into spirits, launching Sailor & Clover Distillery, producing small batch vodka, gin and whisky flavoured with local botanicals. For the non-drinkers, try their Ivy's Garden Soda. And if you want to learn more about the brewing process, join head brewer Dave for Mudgee Beer School on the first Sunday of the month.

Charming pubs in Gulgong
Though there are excellent pubs across the Mudgee region, you can't beat a trip to the historic gold mining town of Gulgong to visit some of its quaint establishments. The Centennial Hotel or 'The Cenny' as it is affectionately known, was established in 1872 and serves cold beer and good old-fashioned country pub food. A short stroll down the road and you'll find the Prince of Wales Hotel, founded in the same year, the quirky pub offers award winning accommodation, food and a courtesy night bus. A minutes' walk will take you to the family run Post Office Hotel, which hosts live music, serves great food and of course, beer.
