Start from either Sydney or Canberra to experience the fine food and awe-inspiring beauty of the country and coast between the two cities. On your first day, you’ll start to unwind as you explore the fine dining and art in Bowral. On day two you’ll wind through country villages - including Goulburn, Australia’s first inland city - before ending up in the classic gold rush town of Braidwood.

This Heritage Highlights drive seeks out and showcases some of the interesting history of NSW. On the first day you’ll head south from Sydney to the Southern Highlands exploring historic farming areas, railway bridges and villages as you go.

On the second day, there’s time to explore the surrounds of Bowral before travelling to the Kangaroo Valley. Kiama is the final stop, where you can visit not just the rugged rock formations and coast line, but also the museums, trails and monuments that reveal the more recent history of the area.

Explore the Dreamtime stories and constellation-scattered sky of Outback NSW on this four-day drive. You’ll visit the Parkes telescope that helped broadcast Neil Armstrong’s moon landing and see the Siding Springs Observatory.

You’ll take in the wonder of one of the world's only Dark Sky Parks in the Warrumbungle National Park and marvel at the stars without any interference from artificial light. In Lightning Ridge, you’ll learn about the rare black opal and soak in two-million-year-old artesian water.

Step back in time to when the dinosaurs ruled the earth in this caves and fossils road trip. Begin in Sydney at the Australian Museum by inspecting their collection of dinosaur skeletons and then start driving towards Lithgow. A good stopover for refreshments is Katoomba in the Blue Mountains, with many restaurants, cafes and pubs.

Covering nearly 950kms of spectacular landscape and history through Outback NSW, the Darling River Run follows the course of the Darling from Walgett to Wentworth, a journey rich with indigenous history and the memories of Australia’s pioneering days.

Explore heritage trails and museums and enjoy quality fishing on the beautiful Darling River, where you will find ancient man-made fish traps. From rock art and incredible wildlife to historic landmarks, you’ll find plenty of things to see and do.
