Glenrock Lagoon

A natural lagoon where Flaggy Creek flows into the Tasman Sea on Burwood Beach. The underlying geology has led to a series of ridges and incised valleys, with waterfalls and rainforest - providing a range of habitats for plants, birds and animals. The area has provided natural resources, shelter and food for thousands of years. It's amazing that this under explored area is on the doorstep of the cities of Newcastle and Lake Macquarie.
