Passage to India shares a deeper story — one of migration, memory, and belonging. Through the journey from India to Australia, explore how food becomes a bridge between cultures, carrying heritage across oceans while evolving in a new land.

Guests will be welcomed in the spirit of Indian hospitality with a traditional greeting before embarking on a curated dining experience showcasing regional dishes from across India — North, South, East, and West — each reflecting the richness and diversity of the country's culinary landscape.

Beyond the table, the evening invites guests to engage with Indian culture through a live henna (mehndi) experience and special dance performances, celebrating artistry, ritual, and tradition. A small keepsake will be offered as a reminder of this special night — a token to carry the journey home.

Now rooted in the Shoalhaven, this region has become our home away from home. Its strong sense of community and abundance of local produce allow us to honour traditional Indian flavours while embracing the place proudly called home.

Passage to India is more than a meal — it is a shared experience of culture, connection, and belonging.

Proudly supported by The Shoalhaven Food Netork as part of the Autumn Celebration of food.
