Dungog by Design presents a collection of works by artist Cynthia Carolyn Denning for October 2026.
Cynthia won her first art prize at 11 years old and has been drawing and painting ever since. In 1967 was her first serious tutoring with a Russian man named Pano, under his house with other mad painters. At the time she was a florist, which now gives her great inspiration for this exhibition.
She has worked with all mediums and has conducted…

Cynthia won her first art prize at 11 years old and has been drawing and painting ever since. In 1967 was her first serious tutoring with a Russian man named Pano, under his house with other mad painters. At the time she was a florist, which now gives her great inspiration for this exhibition.
She has worked with all mediums and has conducted many workshops in Melbourne, Sydney and Dungog, where she currently lives.
Cynthia moved to the Hunter in 1990 and joined other societies; at present Dungog by Design and Dungog Art Society are her favourites.
This exhibition is Floral and Steam, a strange mixture, but her preferred subjects at this stage of her artwork.
