On a warm day, take a seat on the timber deck under a market umbrella, and look out over the lawn and peppercorn trees. You might even hear the Edward River (Kolety) in the distance as you sip on your tea or coffee. If the weather's chillier, there's always a fire crackling away inside.
Afterwards, drop into the Deniliquin Visitor Information Centre next door to stock up on homemade jams and relishes, all made with local or regional producers.
