Overview
McKeown's Rest is a spacious, country-style homestead located at Kenzell Farm — a working farm just outside Oberon, on the edge of the Blue Mountains.
Recently renovated and thoughtfully decorated with rustic charm and a touch of luxe, the homestead offers relaxed, down-to-earth comfort for families and groups. It sleeps up to 13 guests in existing bedding across multiple bedrooms and features 6 bedrooms, 5 with ensuites, a full kitchen, wood fire, generous living areas, sweeping views over open paddocks and an indoor heated pool.
Guests are invited to explore the 250-acre property and mingle with the natives, meet the friendly farm animals — including alpacas, goats, donkeys, camels, and more — or book a hands-on farm tour during their stay. Whether you're enjoying a quiet cuppa by the fire, watching the kids feed lambs, or soaking in a breathtaking sunrise, McKeown's Rest is the perfect place to slow down and reconnect.
Located just 2.5 hours from Sydney and close to Jenolan Caves, Mayfield Garden, and Kanangra-Boyd National Park, Kenzell Farm is an ideal base for exploring the Central Tablelands.
At McKeown's Rest, you'll find plenty of space to spread out, breathe deep, and enjoy life on the land — with friendly animals, firelight evenings, and just the right amount of luxury.
