The Tootool Telephone Exchange Building mural vividly depicts an old telephone, the Tootool Public School badge, the historic Tootool Bridge, native flora and fauna, and a representation of the iconic swaggie familiar to the Tootool–French Park area.

This remarkable mural was brought to life through a collaboration between the Tootool Rest Stop Committee and the local Council. Following extensive community consultations, the project was enthusiastically supported.

The artwork was created by Damien Mitchell, an Australian-US based artist originally from the Riverina, known for his large-scale scare murals. Damien began painting on 25 May and completed the mural the very next day, adding a unique cultural landmark to the region.
