The Nowra Players, a non-profit community organisation, have been bringing live theatre to the Shoalhaven community since 1951. Their monthly meetings are held on the first Monday of the month at the theatre. New members are always welcome.
The 141 seat, Players Theatre is located in Meroo Street, Bomaderry. They present four productions each year which incorporate a wide variety of styles from the classics, to children’s pantomimes, to musicals, right through to contemporary Australian dramatic pieces. They offer youth drama classes, hold an annual youth drama competition and regularly donate to local schools and charities.
