Miniature Woven Tapestry on a Frame: an Arts Muster workshop
Overview
Weaving a miniature tapestry is an ideal way to learn some basic techniques while producing a small personally designed woven image.
Suitable for ages 16 plus.
In this two-day workshop you will start with frame one, which will be already warped for you to weave a miniature tapestry of your own design while learning some basic techniques for a successful end result. You will learn to warp frame two ready for your next tapestry.
This event is part of the Arts Muster Festival, Huskisson.
About Your Tutor: Denise Stevens is a weaver with over 30 years' experience and a special interest in woven tapestry. She has qualifications in many aspects of handmade textiles and a Diploma of Art with specific reference to the medium of woven tapestry.
