Breaking Bread with Mehwish Iqbal
Overview
Food and art come together over a shared lunch.
Join artist Mehwish Iqbal and Bundanon CEO Rachel Kent for a big, stretchy conversation over lunch about the way food holds memory and facilitates cultural exchange.
Born in Pakistan and based in Sydney, Australia, Mehwish Iqbal's multidisciplinary practice is grounded in cultural knowledge, collaboration and connection to place. Her current exhibition at Bundanon, Bait-al-Nahl – The House of Bees, explores global migration and displacement.
Share a light meal inspired by Iqbal's practice, developed in collaboration with the artist and Bundanon Executive Chef Douglas Innes-Will.
