Kingscliff is a relaxed coastal town located just south of Tweed Heads on the NSW North Coast. Kingscliff is characterised by its laid-back atmosphere and a beautiful landscape made up of golden, sandy stretches of beach cusped between small coastal headlands. Not just known for its stunning shoreline, it’s is also home to number of parks, lakes and nature reserves. Walk to the Fingal Head Lighthouse lookout to get a great view of the area, or simply take in the scenery from some of Kingscliff’s cafés, restaurants and bars.
Throughout the year, Kingscliff plays host to a number of exciting North Coast events. The town’s pleasant, temperate climate makes it a great venue for sporting events. Two prominent examples are the Australian Longboard Surfing Open, which is held in March, and Battle on the Border, a three-day cycling festival which attracts both recreational and professional competitors. Kingscliff also sees its fair share of markets, food festivals, and other fantastic events which highlight Kingscliff’s friendly atmosphere and strong sense of community.
