Join National Art School Alumni, acclaimed artist Benjamin Akuila, for a free drop-in tassel making workshop, based on Jacky Cheng's major work Imaginary Homelands (2025) featured in the exhibition The Neighbour at the Gate.

This is a relaxed, drop-in art making session that encourages informal exploration and creative exchange. Workshop facilitators will offer lightly guided instruction and demonstrations, working alongside participants as they develop their own creations.

Participants are welcome to sit with the facilitators, ask questions, and work at their own pace in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Where time and materials allow, participants may create multiple tassels. Each tassel takes about 15 minutes to create.
