You can get to Point Plomer straight from Crescent Head - you drive along an unsealed road, so it is best to have a four wheel drive. Or if you are chasing an adventure then catch the ferry from Port Macquarie North Shore and beach drive to Queens Head or drive along Maria River Rd straight to Plomer.
