LitUp Presents: Dub Leffler at Wallsend Library
Overview
Join them at Wallsend Library for a special LitUp Program event featuring award-winning author and illustrator Dub Leffler. In this inspiring all-ages celebration, Dub will host a 1-hour workshop sharing his creative process—from illustrating picture books to exploring techniques like "reading scribbles" and drawing with the right side of the brain. The event opens with a vibrant performance by an Aboriginal Dance and Yidaki group from Raymond Terrace Public School.
In a career spanning 25 years, Bigambul man, Dub Leffler has written and illustrated over 30 books for children, held workshops in over 300 schools nationally & overseas and earnt many accolades, including the 2019 CBCA Book of the Year for Sorry Day.
Books will be available for purchase from MacLean's Booksellers, with a signing session to follow. Enjoy light refreshments—this free event is not to be missed, but bookings are essential!
