The Beginner Wheel Throwing Workshop – Islington offers a hands-on introduction to pottery within Newcastle's arts precinct.

This small-group experience is designed for beginners and focuses on the fundamentals of wheel throwing. Participants learn to center & throw clay and create simple forms such as bowls, with guidance throughout the session.

The workshop runs for up to three and a half hours in a relaxed studio environment shared with local artists. Light refreshments are provided.

Participants can create multiple pieces and select up to four to be glazed and fired after the workshop.

Located next to Newcastle Arts Space and near Creator Incubator, this experience offers a creative way to engage a day out with Newcastle's local arts community.
