Overview
Join the community paddle! An open invitation is extended to come and try the free Dragon Boating event in Taree.
Open to all fitness levels, it's an exciting, challenging, and rewarding way to enjoy the river in a team environment. No experience is necessary. Everyone is invited– individuals, teams, friends, families and first-timers.

Participants will be provided with a paddle, a PFD and brief tuition by one of the expert coaches. Paddlers need to wear closed-in water shoes.
Boats will be crewed by community and visitor members, assisted by Manning River Dragon Boat Club members, to participate in three short-distance races.
The event on Saturday morning will kick off the weekend's regatta, which will include paddlers from around the state.
Due to the popularity of the event, registration is essential.
