Inspired by the classic country hall tours of Slim Dusty and Joy McKean—and following in the footsteps of modern trailblazers like Fanny Lumsden and the Festival of Small Halls—Wicker Suite is heading into the heart of rural Australia, bringing their music, stories, and warmth to the halls that once formed the lifeblood of the community.

Wicker Suite are an award-winning country-folk duo led by Australian fiddler and vocalist Gabi Louise and New Zealand singer-songwriter and guitarist Liam Kennedy-Clark. Together they blend country, folk and bluegrass into performances that are both electrifying and deeply heartfelt. Their sound pairs masterful musicianship with story-driven songwriting, moving seamlessly between tender ballads, feel-good originals and blisteringly fast fiddle tunes.
