Discover the work of award-winning Torres Strait Islander artist Toby Cedar at Stories of the Sea: Masks, Headdresses & Sculptures, an immersive exhibition at The Gallery in the heart of Coffs Harbour.

Featuring masks, headdresses, floor and wall sculptures, and contemporary works, the exhibition is grounded in Torres Strait culture, traditional knowledge and Toby's deep connection to the sea.

Working across carving, painting, weaving and sculptural assembly, Toby draws on stories and teachings passed down through Elders and family, alongside sea life, creation stories, hunting knowledge and cultural traditions.

Visitors to the Coffs Coast are invited to experience this distinctive exhibition and discover the stories, materials and cultural connections held within Toby's practice.
