What better way to kick off the new year at The Laneway Gallery than with some wholesome native botanical musings by Coffs Harbour artist, Kristen Finlay. Kristen is drawn to still life, especially the quiet poetry of native flowers and everyday objects. Kristen is drawn to still life, especially the quiet poetry of native flowers and everyday objects. Working primarily in acrylic and occasionally dabbling in oil, her impressionistic brushwork captures small moments of beauty with softness, colour and curiosity.

This exhibition, Botanical Musings, is Kristen's first solo show and celebrates her love of observing nature through paint.
