Browns Rocks Caravan Park is located right on the bank of the Clarence River on Goodwood Island and lies beside its name sake - a submerged beach formation which by reputation is one of the best fishing spots on the river. The rest of the park is surrounded by cane fields making it a quiet, hassle free location perfect for the fishermen and also a great resting place for the weary traveller.
Browns Rocks Caravan Park is only eight kilometres off the highway. Travel along the Pacific Highway and take the Iluka turn off. Drive four kilometres to Woombah village and turn right at the blue caravan park sign and Goodwood Island Wharf sign. Cross the bridge onto the island and follow the river to the park entrance.
