Sweet, sweet Harwood Island.
This tiny village on the banks of the Clarence River is perfect daytrippers and boaties alike. Here you will find the working Harwood Sugar Mill in action, an antique store, a general store/post office, a produce store and most notably the Harwood Hotel better known as the Harwood Hilton.
Harwood is easily accessed either by road or by boat. Either kick back and have a fantastic meal and a drink on the deck of the "Hilton", laze in the waterfront park or perhaps cruise over to the pontoon and throw in a line.
