A magical place to get the creative juices flowing, where the mighty Clarence River meets the Mann River, Coombadjha Art Studio and Gallery is open by appointment, and open for expressions of interest for artists to stay on site.

Owner and Operator of Coombadjha Art Studio and Gallery; Australian artist Graham Mackie graduated from the National Art School in 1972 and completed a DipEd at Sydney Teachers College – he has taught in schools across Australia, coached for Gold Coast District Cricket Club and embraces like minded artists to enjoy the area and share their knowledge with others.

Graham is a renowned landscape painter, a photographer and his practice covers a wide variety of mediums such as graphite, oil pastels, charcoal, and crayon.

In 2003 Graham purchased land on the Mann River 80 kilometres west of Grafton and formed Coombadjha Art Studio with an Art Gallery and camping grounds for artists, campers and kayakers. In recent years Graham has started an art camp on his property embracing like-minded artists to enjoy the area and share their knowledge with others – all artists camp on the river.
Graham exhibits annually at The Old Kirk Gallery in Yamba.
