The Bangalow Barn

The Bangalow Barn is a private rural retreat in the Byron Bay hinterland, one minute from Bangalow village and twenty minutes from Byron Bay.

Booked as a whole, the property sleeps eight across a king and three queen beds and includes the Barnita, a shipping-container conversion lined in parquetry with its own ensuite, kitchenette, antique footed bath, daybed and covered deck with hanging chairs. Guests gather around a suspended rotating fireplace, cook in a kitchen of concrete benchtops and hand-made double sinks, and spend long afternoons by the heated magnesium pool.

Two vintage claw-foot tubs, one open to the stars, an outdoor shower, a fire pit and two barbecues invite slow evenings outdoors. Down by the spring-fed creek, an infrared sauna sits beside the water. Reverse-cycle air-conditioning, ceiling fans, Starlink wifi and smart TVs keep every season comfortable. The Bangalow Barn suits families and friends travelling together, as well as couples looking for a romantic escape.
