Overview
Blinky Beach, on the eastern side of Lord Howe Island, is the best beach to access some amazing waves. Bring along a surfboard, body board, fins, or just head in for a bodysurf, it's the most popular place on the island to catch a clean break on some of Australia's least crowded waves. Blinky Beach also boasts a fabulous stretch of sand, and is a spectacular beach for sunbathing, swimming, and snorkelling when the swell is low. This beach is also an ideal spot for some exciting beach fishing.
