Family holidays are unique at Ashmar. Nestled in the Waukicory Valley, just 15 minutes away from the lovely country town of Gloucester.

Gloucester is also known as the "base camp" for the heritage Barrington Tops.
Ashmar is a true working beef property running over 200 cows and calves. Enjoy the wide open space and the fresh country air.

Ashmar is a self-contained heritage cottage set in a beautiful country garden with spectacular views across the property and beyond. Designed and built with comfort and convenience in mind, it includes three bedrooms sleeping up to 13 people, a three-way bathroom, a well-equipped timber kitchen and a laundry/second toilet with washing and ironing facilities.

Plus, there is extra accommodation for two more guests with a double bedroom, an extra bathroom and a sitting room ideal for the Grandmother and Grandfather's retreat. This is available when more than six adults are staying.

The cottage is set in a lovely country garden with a barbecue in a covered courtyard. The garden is a wonderful place for you to enjoy the peace and quiet and to watch the many native birds and the grazing cows.
