Set on a 500 acre Hereford cattle stud, Ashmar Farmstay is a Destination NSW Award Winner offering a true country experience loved by all its guests, especially the kids!

Family holidays are unique at Ashmar: try your hand at milking a cow, collecting farm eggs or feeding the animals and enjoy a hay ride around the property.

Ashmar is a self-contained heritage cottage set in a beautiful country garden with spectacular views across the property and beyond. Designed and built with comfort and convenience in mind it includes three bedrooms sleeping up to 13 people, a three-way bathroom, well-equipped timber kitchen and laundry/second toilet with washing and ironing facilities.

Plus there is extra accommodation for two more guests with a double bedroom, extra bathroom and sitting room ideal for the Grandmother and Grandfather’s retreat. This is available when more than six adults are staying.

The cottage is set in a lovely country garden with barbecue in a covered courtyard. The garden is a wonderful place for you to enjoy the peace and quiet and to watch the many native birds and the nearby grazing cattle.
