This small, walk-in campground is a beautiful hideaway for bushwalkers and rock climbers exploring the Breadknife and Grand High Tops walk, with its amazing cliffs and lookouts.

From Pincham carpark, it's a fairly easy five kilometre walk along Breadknife and Grand High Tops walk to reach the campground. It's only 600 metres off the main trail, but Hurleys camp feels a million miles away.

Pitch your tent in the small clearing on the bank of Spirey Creek, surrounded by large apple gums and wattles. Immerse yourself in nature and marvel at the views of Belougery Spire, which towers above you to the south-west. It's especially beautiful at sunrise, when the spire glows in the sun.

If you're here to climb the park's volcanic rock formations, Belougery Spire and nearby summits are within easy reach. For a relaxing walk, head back the way you came via Spirey View lookout where you can enjoy still more beautiful Grand High Tops vistas.

After a peaceful night, wake to a chorus of yellow robins, Jacky winters and rufous whistlers, some of Australia's finest songbirds. In spring, the area bursts into colour with blooming wildflowers, attracting a range of honeyeaters and other birdlife.
