Australian Mounted Games Australian Individuals Championships

Mounted Games is a type of Equestrian competition which encourages riders of all ages to compete. The games have an emphasis on speed and tests the riders horsemanship, hand eye co-ordination and vaulting skills over a 60 metre course. Races vary from speed to agility with competitions for individuals, pairs and teams. Mounted games are a good alternative to other Equestrian clubs as there is no age limit therefore encouraging people to continue riding into their senior years. NSW Mounted Games Association has a big emphasis on family fun with mums and dads regularly competing with their children. You do not need any experience to compete in a Mounted Games competition as regular training clinics are conducted and the experienced riders always pass on their knowledge to new riders. Mounted Games are a series of very fast races performed on horses, exciting for participants and spectators alike. Free entry.
