The striking 1879 sandstone homestead overlooks the campground, offering a glimpse into Avoca's rich past. Spend your days fishing along the Darling River, enjoying a hit on the tennis court, or simply relaxing around camp and soaking up the peaceful surroundings. Guests are welcome to explore the historic outbuildings during a designated two hour viewing period each evening. Guided tours are also available in the mornings, providing access to the homestead and outbuildings, with stories of Avoca's history followed by morning tea in the original cook's kitchen. Bookings are essential. Please note the homestead grounds and heritage outbuildings are strictly accessible only during the evening viewing period or as part of a guided tour.
