Tom Roberts' legacy looms large North of the Murray. The famed Australian artist spent a considerable amount of time on Brocklesby Station, about 20 minutes north-west of Corowa, where he developed a series of sketches around the shearing sheds that would later become his most famous painting "Shearing the Rams". 130 years on, we invite you to explore our region's unique link to this painting.

Begin your trip at the Corowa Visitor Information Centre to get acquainted with our friendly staff, who will provide you with advice and key points of interest surrounding Roberts' stay in the region. Then, travel by car to different locations to explore the Corowa Federation Museum, Redlands Hill Reserve, Shearing the Ram sculpture done by local artist Andrew Whitehead in the small town of Lowesdale, the Corowa Saleyards, and finish at Gallery 294.
