Stop one. Latchford Barracks

Witness the size and scale of the original migrant camp at Bonegilla when it opened in 1947. You’ll have the opportunity to spend time at Latchford Barracks to view the last remaining building and footings as well as past block locations that aren’t accessible to the general public.

Stop two. Bonegilla Migrant Experience

During a special guided tour at Bonegilla Migrant Experience, you’ll hear shared stories and truly walk in the shoes of the 320,000 migrants who made this their first Australian home.

Stop three. Albury LibraryMuseum

Afterwards, wander through Albury Library Museum’s collection to get a deeper understanding of Bonegilla’s past.

Morning tea and lunch will be provided.

The tour includes bus transport between tour sites. Guests can choose to begin their tour from either of our bus pick-up locations from Wodonga Senior Citizens Centre or Albury Train Station. Optional drop-off at both locations between 4pm and 4.30pm.
