Taste Tamworth Festival

The Taste Tamworth Festival is the premier annual food event on the region's calendar, highlighting growers, makers, chefs and diners in 10 days of events that include Pop-Up in Fitzroy, Taste in the Park, High Tea in the Gardens and The Long Lunch.

The curtain raiser to the festival is Pop-Up on Fitzroy. The celebration continues with Taste in the Park - a showcase of regional food at beautiful Bicentennial Park, attracting 10,000 people.

During Taste Tamworth there are a variety of other events hosted by the region's award winning restaurants.

After selling out in 2019, they are over the moon to welcome back High Tea in the Gardens for 2020. The festival will be concluded in spectacular fashion with the ever popular Long Lunch. This event that draws visitors to share in an afternoon that celebrates the region’s bounty of fresh country produce. More than 250 visitors dressed in florals, whites, collared shirts and sunglasses are seated, ready for an afternoon of spectacular local food, wine, live music and relaxation.
