At each end of the trail, you'll find outdoor gym equipment designed for all ages — free to use and perfect for a morning workout or a stretch in the fresh air.

Families will love the dedicated children's bike safety park, complete with intersections, roundabouts, traffic islands, miniature road signs and plenty of seating for a well-earned break. It's a hands-on way for kids to learn road safety while burning off some energy.

Fringed by a double row of majestic gum trees, Stock Road offers a peaceful natural setting and is home to local wildlife — and if you're lucky, you might even spot a koala, especially during the cooler parts of the day.

And did you know? Stock Road once formed part of the historic north–south overland stock route, used by drovers in the late 1800s to move livestock from Queensland to Sydney. Today, it's a place where nature, recreation and local history all meet — a true gem in Gunnedah's outdoor offering.
