Australia is home to a long list of ‘big things’, with Robertson’s Big Potato only one of approximately 150 sculptures and large structures of this ilk scattered throughout the country. Showcasing the main crop of the area, the giant spud was built in 1977 and measures around 10 metres long and four metres wide. Designed with a hollow interior, you can actually enter the attraction – inside, it has been painted to look like a mashed potato.
