Lake Cowal Conservation Centre: Connecting Community with Nature
The Lake Cowal Conservation Centre (LCCC) is a vibrant educational hub where students, land managers, and community members come together to explore and learn about natural resource management.
This unique facility is the result of a collaborative partnership between the Lake Cowal Foundation Ltd, West Wyalong High School, Evolution Mining Pty Limited, and NSW Local Land Services.
The LCCC's mission is to inspire and educate the local community on catchment management and sustainable land practices. Through hands-on activities, demonstrations, research, and educational programs, the Centre promotes improved land management and environmental stewardship.
One of the Centre's greatest strengths is its ability to show how agriculture, conservation, and industry can work together in harmony — creating a sustainable future that respects the local environment.
