In this 3-hour ceramics workshop with Albury-based artist and teacher Sharon McEachern, participants will explore fine hand building techniques to create small organic forms. Using pinch and coil techniques students will learn how to shape, join and add fine detail to clay. The workshop will focus on creating natural forms such as imagined plant forms.

This workshop will also include a visit to the ARTEXPRESS exhibition which includes work by two of Sharon's 2025 HSC Visual Art students.

About Sharon:
Sharon McEachern is an experienced Visual Arts educator with over 25 years in secondary education and currently a Deputy Principal at Albury High School. She is a highly successful HSC Visual Arts teacher, with her students consistently achieving outstanding results and earning selection in ARTEXPRESS. Alongside her educational leadership, Sharon is a professional practicing ceramic artist, maintaining an active engagement with her own creative practice.
