Gears and Beers Festival

Saturday 05 October 2019 to Sunday 06 October 2019

The Sixth annual Gears and Beers Festival is a Community Cycle Challenge, combined with a Craft Beer and Cider Festival. The event is conceived and run by the Rotary Club of Wollundry Wagga Wagga.

Wagga Wagga is well known as an active community and they are proud to provide an event that promotes health, fitness and fun for all ages.

The focus is on community participation; Mum's, Dad's, children, current cycle enthusiasts, beginners and business challenge participants. The craft beer and cider festival has been created to meet the growing appreciation for the range of handcrafted beers and ciders produced in the region.

The combination of the cycle challenge, the craft beers and cider festival, outstanding locally roasted coffee, accompanied by great local food plus first-class musical entertainment should make for an enjoyable day.

Ride distances begin with nine kilometres, 30 kilometres, 50 kilometres, Filthy 50 kilometres - (Dirt sections),105 kilometres, and culminate with their marque ride 'The Rapha Dirty 130' which contains four challenging dirt sectors.

This event has continued to draw the attention of cycle enthusiasts from all over the country and it will continue to draw people to Wagga Wagga.
