The Wiradjuri Trail, perfect for walking and cycling, covers about 42 kilometres, circling much of the city and exploring riverbanks, hilltops and everything in between.
It also winds through Birramal Conservation Area, Silvalite Reserve and Pomingalarna Reserve - perfect for wildlife spotting or enjoying some of the best views over the city.
The Wollundry Loop - part of the trail - is 12.1 kilometres and a more leisurely walk, following part of the Murrumbidgee River and the perimeter of the Wollundry Lagoon.
A popular return-route is to start from the Wagga Wagga Visitor Information Centre and walk anti-clockwise, taking in Riverside: Wagga Beach, Cadell Place laneway murals, Wiradjuri Reserve and Marrambidya Wetland.
