Art Exhibition - Conceal/Reveal by Bobby Graham

Rusten House Art Centre presents an exhibition of life drawings by Bobby Graham.

Conceal / Reveal explores the relationship between observation and transformation. Beginning with life drawings made from direct observation, the works evolve through digital colour, pattern and layered surfaces. Figures emerge, disappear and re-emerge as colour conceals and reveals different aspects of the subject.

The exhibition reflects an ongoing fascination with drawing as a process of discovery. Colour is used not simply to describe the figure but to create atmosphere, emotion and ambiguity. The resulting works sit between representation and imagination, inviting viewers to look closely and find their own narratives within the layers.

This exhibition forms part of the Queanbeyan Arts Trail.
