Handa Opera at Millthorpe combines opera with a weekend in one of regional NSW's historic villages. Held at Millthorpe Hall over four days at Easter, the festival brings singers and musicians together for recitals, gala concerts, open rehearsals and artist conversations.

The programme includes opera favourites, a concert performance of Verdi's Un ballo in maschera, and Berlin to Broadway. Between performances, visitors can explore Millthorpe's heritage streets, dine at local restaurants and pubs, and visit nearby wineries and cellar doors.

The village is a short drive from Orange. Stay for the festival, or make the performances part of a longer visit to the region. Handa Opera at Millthorpe offers a way to pair a programme of opera and music with local dining, wine and time in the country.

All performances take place inside Millthorpe Hall, in the centre of the village. The festival welcomes opera regulars and first-time audiences alike.
