The town of Boomi is located near the border of New South Wales and Queensland, one hour north-west of Moree and one hour east of Goondiwindi.
Whilst in Boomi, enjoy a pleasant stopover at the quiet and well shaded Hot Artesian Spa Baths in the centre of town.
The town of Boomi was established at its present location in 1897, having been moved from Kunopia on the banks of the Boomi River. Boomi is a quiet and relaxing town to enjoy the recuperative powers of Hot Artesian Water.
Please note that some maps show gravel roads but they are incorrect. Roads from Moree and Goondiwindi are all bitumen. The road north of Boomi to Talwood in Queensland is also bitumen all the way.
