Harbour City GP: Stage Two Pheasant Wood Road Race
Overview
The Harbour City GP is a feature event of the 2nd ProVelo Super League season, featuring three days, three stages of elite cycling for national and international quality women and men, amateur races, community ride activations and a range of VIP events.
The Pheasant Wood Road Race is a tight, twisty circuit with a short rise in the middle that will challenge PSL riders with its longer distance and constantly rolling terrain. The women will tackle 65 km and the men 85 km, making endurance and positioning crucial on this demanding course. It promises to be a fascinating race to watch, with a buzzing crowd and multiple viewing platforms around the track offering close-up, full course spectating.
The ProVelo Super League (PSL) is an elite road cycling league hosted annually across Australia with teams and athletes competing in a points format. The PSL features an elite women's and men's division with a target of 30 teams anticipated to compete in Season 2 of the PSL. Hosted across January to March, the PSL has established a vital pathway for athletes looking to pursue the 'Road to the World Tour'.
