Overview

Qigong is an ancient Oriental practice based on the philosophy of cultivating, stimulating and regulating natural energy flows through the body. Dating back several millennia, this modality predates even acupressure, acupuncture and herbalism. Based on gentle movements, a meditative state of mind and controlled breathing, practitioners develop calmness and serenity.

The regular practice of Qigong also strengthens and tones the muscular system, improves joint flexibility and has been demonstrated to improve overall health in many ways, including reducing high blood pressure, improving bone strength and treating depression. Join them for a special day of Qigong practice at the Crookwell Tea House and Gallery
