The Crookwell Mary Gilmore Weekend is an annual cultural event held in memory of the locally born Dame Mary Gilmore.

The weekend showcases artists, poets, musicians, singers and entertainers.

Opening night has drinks by the Rose Garden at the Crookwell Showground with live musical entertainment. Later the Mary Gilmore Festival Concert will be at the Criterion Hotel (no charge).

Saturday kicks off with informal jam sessions by musicians, singers and poets at the Crookwell Showground, followed by free Performing Youth Concert in the Showground Dome Pavilion.

Saturday afternoon will be the highlight of the weekend with a Variety Music Concert in the Showground Pavilion.

Sunday features free Balladeers, Musicians and Poets Showcase at the Showground.

To further enhance your visit, Crookwell features many attractions and speciality shops including Arcadia, Top Paddock and Crookwell Country Bunches, plus some excellent cafes.

Mobility

Caters for people with sufficient mobility to climb a few steps but who would benefit from fixtures to aid balance. (This includes people using walking frames and mobility aids)
